Some of the SESG's key services include:
- Barrier control
- Emergency Management Incident response
- Canine services
- High security escorts
- Correctional staff training.
What values and skills should you have?
Being in the SESG is not for the faint of heart. You will undertake a physically intense training regime and may be placed in high pressure situations in your ongoing work. That means you'll need a capacity to exercise good judgement and undertake effective, timely actions.
Simply put, we need officers who can make good calls and be accountable for them.
To be a good candidate, you will also be an outcome and solutions focused person who is motivated to make a real difference.
